This has only about 75% of the contents of the original edition of this book by the same author and publisher and with the same title. The content it has is basically the same as the earlier edition but this edition has about 190 fewer pages and their photos.I suggest purchasing the earlier edition if you can find it at a reasonable price as both editions are the same page size and general format. The summaries for each section are also the same in both editions per my quick check.

David Leddick never lets me down. I purchased this book for a friend of mine who was in the need for a fab coffee table book. I knew David Leddick when I lived in Miami so I'm privy to his work. Beautiful book and a must for any man who loves to gaze at handsome, naked men.

The cover was different, but it has nice pictures inside. There's a few poses in it I want to try now!

.....an incredible amount of photos for a smaller size book. The historical collection of male nudes is a must have for anyone's library no matter how big or small.

If you're looking for a coffee-table book full of artistic nudes that's easily browsed, this is not the book for you. This book is thick and more like a college level textbook for an art major then casual browsing.The pictures are nice and interesting in and of themselves, though most of the models will only appeal to those who prefer a more vintage look (unlike the model shown on the cover). It was rather cool to see how male nudes have been done through the history of photography, though.

i was expecting more pictures of naked men. A lot of text to book.
