Organised largely by building type, it covers the full range of preliminary considerations, and with over 6200 diagrams it provides a mass of data on spatial requirements. Most illustrations are dimensioned and each building type includes plans, sections, site layouts and design details. An extensive bibliography and a detailed set of metric/ imperial conversion tables are included. Since it was first published in Germany in 1936, Ernst Neufert's handbook has been progressively revised and updated through 39 editions and many translations. I really expected more from the book. The graphic style was quite disappointing. Its not very easy to follow. Granted the author wanted to have it work more like a guideline of sorts without being repetitive, hence the need to keep it short and concise, however, I think it lacks clarity overall.The use of dimensions is also very inconsistent and hard to grasp, even though I generally use the metric system. Rather use 1265mm and 1.265m, cm are just unnecessary as buildings are generally dimensioned in mm.

Love it ! The product arrived faster than expected less then a week, carefully package and the book is so amazing, it has a lot useful information for architect student.

I red some parts of the book and in my opinion its interesting and helpful but it need to talk about different building type to be helpful for professionals .I think it good.

VERY superficial information, and some of the drawings are reproduced upside-down.

No need to comment about the book, because is a classic. It is called architect's bible. Fantastic book and desing tool. I am possitive impressed with the fast delivery and the quality of the item I received. Congrats to the book store.
